At PlayON we respect your privacy and we take care to protect the information you provide to us. This policy describes how information is gathered and used by PlayON and its Official Partners in the operation of this Website. The terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as those used in the Terms and Conditions.

This is all information which we consider to be “Personal Information” and you will be asked to provide this when you open a real money account and occasionally at other times when you use the Website or play a Game.

PlayON and its official sporting organisation partners will not sell or pass on your details to any third parties for purposes of marketing or advertising.

We may transfer your personal information in the event of any transfer or sale of our business or any part of it including in the event of insolvency.

Also PlayON may disclose your personal information to any body investigating actual or suspected criminal activity (including the Financial Services Authority and the National Criminal Intelligence Service) or, in respect of any event which we are taking bets on, any demonstrable threat to the integrity of that event and/or rules of the relevant governing bodies (including the UK football authorities in relation to UK football). In such event, PlayON will only disclose personal information which it deems to be necessary and proportionate to any such investigation and where it has been assured by such third party that it will be used in compliance with data protection legislation.

3. Security

The Personal Information that you are required to give during the PlayON registration process is encrypted for protection. All of our users’ information, not just sensitive information, is stored on servers in secure operating environments. You expressly consent to us transferring your Personal Information to, and storing it on, servers located outside of the United Kingdom and/ or the European Economic Area (“Other Territories”). As part of this process we may transfer your personal information to our holding and subsidiary companies, any of our partners, associated parties and service providers. PlayON is owned and operated by Tradeplayer Limited, a limited liability company registered in Scotland, company number SC388174 ("the Company").

PlayON’s registered office address is at 5th Floor, Quartermile Two, 2 Lister Square, Edinburgh, EH3 9GL.

Tradeplayer Limited controls any Personal Data collected as a result of you joining PlayON and acts as the “data controller” for the purposes of applicable European data protection legislation with regards to the use your Personal Data by PlayON.

12. How long will the data be stored for

We will store your data for the period of time that you are a customer of PlayON. During this time, we will ensure that all your data is appropriately protected and only used for acceptable purposes.

Should you choose to end your time as a customer of PlayON, we will keep your data for the minimum length of time required to comply with the purposes set out in this policy and relevant legal or regulatory obligations.

Transaction data is required to be stored for periods of up to 7 years. However, users who wish to close their PlayON accounts can request the removal of the user details from these transactions if they so choose.
